Pacific Coast Jazz – grass roots artist services and international distribution, you’re in control. We specialize in both straight-ahead and contemporary. Our sister label, That Other Label, specializes in all other genres of music.

Pacific Coast Jazz / That Other Label, founded in 2003, are world-class boutique record labels that provide traditional retail and digital international distribution services to musical (and DVD) projects of all genres. Our goal is to bring new and refreshing musicians to audiences worldwide. We offer professional insight and direction to create the right opportunities for independent musicians using a grass roots approach.
We act as quarterback for NEW musical projects and specialize in their publicity, promotion and advertising needs. If you already have your project in digital or retail distribution with CD Baby or iTunes or elsewhere, we cannot help help. We do not double dip. Our retail distributor is MVD and our digital retailer is The Orchard.

We offer professional insight and direction you need to create the right opportunities for your music and we offer an international distribution outlet for your music. WE DO NOT BOOK your band but instead, we act as your quarterback for your new musical project. We DO NOT ACT AS YOUR FINANCIAL backer either. Digital due dates: Give us a few weeks but in reality, we can help to get your tracks digital in 24-48 hours provided our digital distributor is not backlogged.

Retail due dates: We are currently working on the August 6 street date. All materials are required by May 17. Next dates are:

In late 2008, Pacific Coast Jazz spun off a new arm of the company, That Other Label. TOL is now in place to help artists in the same powerful way that they help jazz folks - but in any other genre that is not jazz. New relationships are being formed all the time and these relationships are opening new doors for all PCJ and now, TOL artists.

We tailor every program to meet the budget and needs of the Artist.
We work direct with the team hired by the Artist or help the Artist to locate his/her team.
We DO NOT TAKE OWNERSHIP OF THE MASTER of the Artist – the master belongs to the Artist.
We can take Visa/Mastercard/Amex/Diner’s Club.
